Former Westlife star Shane Filan has joined forces with Concern Worldwide to support its Concern Fast 2015 campaign, and is encouraging participants to go without something they love for 24 hours, and raise funds to help the world's poorest communities recover and rebuild following disasters.

Filan, who is a self-confessed golf fanatic, has decided to 'putt away' his clubs on Fast Day, November 26, to highlight how a small sacrifice can make a difference to the lives of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people.
